ZJY series Roots vacuum pump is a positive displacement vacuum pump. The ZJY type Roots vacuum pump with an overflow valve is a derivative product of the ZJ Roots vacuum pump. Its working principle is the same as that of the ZJ type Roots vacuum pump. It uses two figure-eight rotors to rotate synchronously inside the pump casing to draw in and exhaust air. This series of Roots pumps can be used as booster pumps, but they cannot directly discharge gas into the atmosphere.

ZJY Series Roots Vacuum Pumps Features

Small size, high pumping speed, and low operating noise.

It is particularly suitable for vacuum systems that require high pumping speed under low inlet pressure.

There is no direct contact between the high-speed rotating rotors or between the rotors and the pump body, and a certain gap is maintained between all moving parts.

An internal relief valve is set up, which enables the Roots vacuum pump and the forepump to operate pneumatically almost simultaneously under atmospheric conditions, thereby shortening the pumping time.

By choosing the appropriate forepump, Roots pumps can also be widely applied in vacuum distillation, concentration, drying and other processes in industries such as food, chemical engineering, medicine and light textile.
