What is 3LPE Coated Pipe?
3LPE coated pipe consists of three layers of pipeline coating. The first layer is fusion bonded epoxy resin, which prevents corrosion and fuses with the sandblasted steel surface. The second layer is a copolymer adhesive with excellent chemical bonding to both the inner polyethylene layer and top layer. The third layer is polyethylene that protects the pipe from physical damage.

1. High-density cross-linked polyethylene exterior wall provides superior hardness and wear resistance. Rubber wheel wear tests show weight loss <15mg for exterior and <20mg for interior epoxy coating (Reference standard: SY/T 0442-2010).
2. Suitable for harsh conditions with long anti-corrosion life. Heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating can last 50-70 years in chemical, atmospheric, and marine environments, even in acid, alkali, salt, and solvent media.
3. Coating features excellent weather resistance, anti-aging properties, radiation resistance, impact resistance, and stable conductivity with resistivity meeting anti-static requirements.
4. Strong adhesion: Coating forms chemical bonds with metal substrate through hydroxyl groups and coupling agents, creating a dense interface transition layer with comprehensive thermodynamic properties matching the base material.
