What is 3LPE Coated Pipe?
3LPE coated pipe consists of three protective layers:
- Layer 1: Fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) that prevents corrosion and bonds with the sandblasted steel surface
- Layer 2: Copolymer adhesive with excellent chemical bonding to both the inner and outer layers
- Layer 3: Polyethylene layer that protects against physical damage
