Product Overview

This single component auger valve provides steady, volumetric metering of low to medium viscosity fluids at flows from 0.35 to 7 mL per minute. The design delivers a continuous, pulse-free output ideal for fine bead and coating applications. It fits compact production cells and integrates with common dispensers and robots for repeatable, low-drift delivery.


Problem

Many dispensing operations see uneven bead shape or intermittent flow when using pump types that create pulses or depend on pressure swings. This leads to inconsistent bonds, extra trimming or rework.


Cause 

Pulsed outputs, air entrainment, or poorly matched feed systems cause the dispensing tip to vary in flow. For low-rate dosing, pressure-based systems can be hard to tune and keep stable over a long run.


Solution

The auger valve uses a rotating screw to move material continuously and at a controlled volumetric rate, eliminating pressure pulses at the nozzle. It reduces bead variation and simplifies setup by delivering a linear relation between motor speed and flow. How It Works 

The auger screw rotates to deliver a continuous volume of fluid through the outlet. Motor speed sets the delivered volume per minute; a stable speed produces a steady flow without the pressure pulses found in piston or diaphragm pumps. Feed method (pressure pot or gravity) supplies the reservoir while the screw provides positive displacement to the nozzle.
