In a piezo jet valve, seals, gaskets and other sealing components are key components to ensure the normal operation of the valve body and prevent glue leakage. They not only affect the dispensing accuracy and stability, but are also directly related to the service life and maintenance cycle of the equipment.
Introduction
1. Seals / O-Rings
Seals are common sealing components in piezoelectric valve systems, usually used for the contact surface inside the valve body to prevent glue leakage or air ingress.
Material selection:
Fluororubber (FKM): resistant to high temperature and chemical corrosion, suitable for high temperature environments or strong solvents.
Perfluororubber(FFKM):corrosion-reresistent
NBR: Good oil resistance, suitable for most common glues.
Polyethylene (PE): Temperature resistance below 85°C, strong wear resistance
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): Suitable for high viscosity or special glues, strong chemical resistance, temperature resistance below 200°C, slightly weaker wear resistance.
2. Gaskets
Gaskets are often used for the joint surface of piezoelectric valves, with strong sealing and pressure resistance, ensuring no leakage between the two parts.
Material selection:
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK): high temperature, within 200°C, corrosion resistance
