Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant Silicon Barium Alloy For Metallurgy. Si-Ba-Ca alloy is a graphite-promoting alloy that reduces white mouth tendency, improves graphite morphology and distribution, increases eutectic groups, and refines matrix structure. It shows effective results within 5-8 minutes after inoculation, making it suitable for general casting or late instantaneous inoculation applications.
The inoculant quantity minimally affects cast iron's chemical composition but significantly impacts microstructure, enhancing mechanical properties of gray cast iron and improving physical characteristics.
