Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, Aitemag provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, you can select an Aitemag product with the proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 18FM Features
Aitemag 18FM is a high purity magnesium hydroxide treated with a coupling silane to provide:
- Easy dispersion and enhanced compounding rheology
- Designed for use in thermoplastic and cross-linked polyolefins
- Suitable for elastomeric polymers (SEBS, PU), polyamide 6, polyamide 66, and HIPS
- Delivers good mechanical properties and low-temperature performance
- Excellent electrical and rheology properties
