Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 55FL is a natural magnesium hydroxide that is treated with a silane to provide easy flow and dispersion in polymers and enhanced compounding processability. This product is designed for use in PVC to provide excellent dynamic thermal stability (DTS) and wet-aged electrical property. Aitemag 55FL is ideal for use to make low-smoke PVC cable jacket compounds.
