Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, Aitemag provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, you can select an Aitemag product with appropriate characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 10PA is a high purity magnesium hydroxide treated with functional polymers to provide easy flow and dispersion. Designed for use in polyolefins and elastomeric polymers, it enables favorable compounding rheology and processability. Flame retardant compounds made with Aitemag 10PA are characterized by high oxygen index values, making them particularly suitable for LSZH wire and cable insulation materials.
