What is Oligopeptide-68 Powder?
Oligopeptide-68 is a skin-whitening peptide raw material, a twelve-amino acid-rich oligopeptide commonly used for skin whitening, brightening, and acne treatment. It works by inhibiting melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH), reducing melanin production, and preventing excessive melanin formation. Its unique mechanism lies in Oligopeptide-68 mimicking the binding of TGF-β to receptors on the cell surface, utilizing the suppression of intramolecular channels of MITF to reduce induced and hereditary pigmentation, thus achieving a skin-whitening and brightening effect.
