What is Diosmetin Powder?
Diosmetin is a monomer extracted from lemon. It is also found in many natural plants such as spearmint and spiderwort. diosmetin has functional food, cosmetic, and future pharmaceutical applications with antioxidant, anti-infective, and anti-shock effects. It is a natural flavonoid compound that inhibits the activity of human CYP1A enzyme. diosmetin also possesses antimutagenic and anti-allergic properties.

1. Studies have shown that geraniol has a pressor effect.
2. Geraniol has a significant sensitizing effect on the chemiluminescence of the potassium ferricyanide-luminol system. Experimental results show that adding potassium ferricyanide solution to alkaline luminol solution for 0.8 s increases the luminescence intensity by 0.5 times, then slowly decreases after 3.85 s. In a mixed solution of alkaline luminol and potassium ferricyanide, adding geraniol more than doubles the luminescence intensity (Chemicalbook) after 0.55 s, with the latter showing a greater change than the former. This fully demonstrates that geraniol has a strong sensitizing effect on the chemiluminescence of alkaline luminol oxidized by potassium ferricyanide solution.
