The dissolved air flotation machine is an efficient and stable water treatment system designed to clarify industrial wastewater by removing oils, greases, and solid suspended matter. This advanced equipment dissolves air into water under pressure, creating a supersaturated state, then releases the air at atmospheric pressure to generate micro-bubbles that attach to contaminants and float them to the surface for removal.
DAF technology operates by dissolving air into water under controlled pressure conditions. When the pressurized water is released into the flotation tank, it generates millions of micro-bubbles that attach to oil droplets and suspended solids. These bubble-particle aggregates rise to the surface, forming a floating sludge layer that is mechanically removed by scraping systems.
Heavier particles settle through inclined plate systems to the bottom sediment collection zone, where they are discharged to sludge tanks for further processing. The clarified, purified water exits through the central discharge tube.
