All-in-One DAF Unit for Food Industry Wastewater Treatment
The dissolved air flotation machine is an efficient and stable water treatment system designed to clarify wastewater by removing oils, greases, and solid suspended matter. This equipment dissolves air into water under pressure to achieve supersaturation, then releases the air at atmospheric pressure in the flotation tank. The released air forms microscopic bubbles that adhere to suspended particles, causing them to float to the surface as scum, which is then removed by an automated scraping mechanism.
Working Principle
Air flotation separation technology involves dissolving air into water under pressure, then releasing the pressure-dissolved air water to generate fine bubbles. These bubbles contact and adhere to oil and suspended flocs in wastewater, carrying them to the surface where they form scum. The scum is systematically removed by the scraping system, while heavy particles settle in the inclined plate zone and are discharged to the sludge tank. Clarified purified water is discharged through the equipment center tube.
