1. Slurry is pumped into the filter press with solids distributed evenly on filter cloths during the fill cycle.
2. Solids build on the filter cloth, trapping particles and forming a filter cake that acts as a depth filter for solid/liquid separation.
3. Filtrate exits through corner ports into the manifold, with solids building in chambers until completely full.
4. Once chambers are full, the fill cycle completes and the filter press is ready for emptying.
