Product Overview
The Realkey Cross Belt Sorter is a state-of-the-art solution designed for optimal handling of various items, including parcels and cartons. This system incorporates essential components such as tracks, carts, cart belts, recognition technologies, and communication systems.
The carts form a continuous chain along the track, moving in parallel to create a mainline that intersects with the cart belts, which is how the system gets its name. Items can be loaded onto the cart belts either manually or automatically, and as the carts approach sorting stations, the control system activates the belts to ensure accurate sorting.
Available in circular and linear setups, cross belt sorters are engineered for high efficiency. Circular models can sort items at speeds of up to 2 meters per second, processing approximately 22,000 items per hour. Linear models operate at speeds up to 1.5 meters per second and can handle around 8,000 items per hour.
