SH709 automatic mercaptan and sulfur tester using potential titration method measurement principle.

The H2S-free sample was dissolved in isopropanol solvent of sodium acetate, and potentiometric titration was carried out with standard solution of silver alcohol nitrate. The pH glass electrode was used as reference electrode, and the mercaptan sulfur electrode was used as indicator electrode. The potentiometric spike between the two electrodes indicated the end point of titration.

The mercaptan sulfur precipitates to silver mercaptan during titration.
