Product Introduction
Model ST136 Pellet Durability Tester (also known as particle pulverization rate tester) is strictly engineered to comply with GB 16765 General Technical Requirements for Pelleted Feed and ISO 17831 Solid biofuels — Determination of mechanical durability of pellets and briquettes.
PDI (Pellet Durability Index), also referred to as feed durability index, is a core indicator for evaluating pelleted feed quality. This tester quantifies the anti-breakage performance of pellet products during transportation, stacking and handling operations.
A higher PDI reading indicates superior crush resistance, better pellet integrity and higher feed utilization efficiency.
