Product Overview
The TU847 is a module terminal unit (MTU) designed for redundant configuration of on-site communication interfaces CI840/CI840A. This passive unit features connections for power supply, electrical module bus, two CI840/CI840A interfaces, and two rotary switches for station address settings (0 to 99). The module bus optical port TB842 can be connected to TU847 through TB806.
Four mechanical keys (two at each position) configure the MTU for the correct module type, with six positions per key allowing 36 different configurations. The TU847 requires space on the left side for disassembly and cannot be replaced with a power supply. A G3 compatible version (TU847Z) is also available.
