System Requirements
Requires NI-DCPower driver software and either LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI application development environment. Configuration can be performed using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tools.
Reset Functionality
The PXIe-4162 can be reset to a known state, which disables power generation, restores session properties to default values, clears errors (including overtemperature and auxiliary power loss), verifies session properties, and places the session in an uncommitted state. This function performs a hard reset of both device and driver programming, equivalent to using the Reset function in Measurement & Automation Explorer.
Note: Ports can be specified using either fully qualified names (e.g., Dev1/PXI_Trig0) or simplified port names (e.g., PXI_Trig0). Input ports may also be from another device (e.g., Dev2/SourceCompleteEvent).
