Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter With 4-20mA/HART Signal Output
Guided Wave Radar Level Gauge With 4-20mA/HART Signal Output
The guided wave radar level transmitter is a liquid level measurement instrument based on the principle of electromagnetic wave reflection.
The guided wave radar level transmitter emits low-energy microwave pulses, which are transmitted to the liquid or solid surface inside the container through a guide rod or guide cable. When the microwave pulses reach the surface of the medium, due to the difference in dielectric constant between the medium and air, part of the microwave pulses will be reflected back to the guide rod and received by the radar sensor. The radar calculates the distance d between the radar and the surface of the medium using the formula d = c⋅t/2 based on the time difference between the emission and the echo, where c is the speed of light and t is the time difference between emission and reception, and then determines the liquid level height.
- High Precision: The accuracy can reach ±2mm.
- Strong Anti-interference Ability: The design of the waveguide tube or waveguide cable can effectively resist the influence of external noise, steam, dust and other factors. Even in harsh working conditions, it can maintain the stability and accuracy of measurement.
- Wide Application Range: It can operate within a temperature range of -60℃ to 200℃ and a pressure range of -1bar to 40bar, and is suitable for various liquids, including corrosive, viscous and foamy liquids. It can also be used to measure the interface between liquids.
- Easy Installation and Maintenance: The structure is simple, and the installation method is flexible. It can be connected by thread, flange, and other methods, and does not require complex debugging and regular maintenance.
