Applications
This infrared thermometer measures surface temperature of various hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach objects safely and quickly without contact. The unit consists of optics, temperature sensor, signal amplifier, processing circuit, and LCD display. The optics collect infrared energy emitted by the object and focus it onto the sensor, which translates the energy into an electrical signal that is processed and displayed digitally on the LCD.
