The Traveling Bridge Sludge Scraper is primarily designed for rectangular or horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks. This system features a traveling bridge that moves back and forth, driving scraper blades to push settled sludge along the tank bottom to the sludge hopper for efficient discharge.

Engineered for stable operation, lightweight construction, and easy maintenance, this scraper is ideal for primary and secondary clarifiers in both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

The scraper operates on dual traveling rails powered by a motor and gearbox system, enabling the bridge to move back and forth along the tank length. During forward motion, the scraper blades push accumulated sludge toward the sludge trough. On the return stroke, the scraper automatically lifts to minimize resistance and wear.

Collected sludge is efficiently discharged through the outlet pipe system. Optional skimming devices can be integrated to remove floating scum, enabling continuous automatic operation with minimal manual intervention.
