1. DSP digital vector control for low noise & low vibration
Sine-wave current output delivers smoother operation compared with TB6600 analog drivers, preventing step loss at high speeds; premium versions feature auto-tuning to match motors automatically.

2. Automatic standby current reduction for energy saving
Holding current is automatically reduced approx. 0.4s after motor stop, greatly lowering motor heating and temperature rise during long-hour operation.

3. Multiple microstep resolutions available
Max. 256 microsteps for high positioning accuracy and smooth low-speed movement without jitter.

4. Comprehensive protection functions
Over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, winding short-circuit and phase-loss protection; ALARM fault output signal.

⚠️ Limitation: Open-loop control without encoder; not recommended for heavy-load, high-speed continuous duty cycles (closed-loop drivers such as DM542S are recommended as upgrade)

IV. Selection Notes
 
- Motor rated current must be ≤4.2A for compatibility; verify current rating for long-body high-torque NEMA23 motors

- Higher supply voltage improves high-speed torque, but must not exceed the maximum rating of 50V for the driver

- Closed-loop stepper drivers (e.g. DM542S closed-loop version) are recommended for continuous high-speed and high-precision applications.
