TPMS is an electronic system in modern vehicles that tracks the air pressure in your tires and warns you via a dashboard light.

 It uses sensors inside the tires, directly reporting pressure and temperature. And also requires proper inflation (using the door jamb sticker PSI) and sometimes recalibration after service to function correctly.
