Can I use a 5v 2.1 amp (output) battery pack with this light box which is 1amp (Input) without damaging it? Manufacturerowledgeable persons only

Yes you can. The Light Box only draws what it needs. The specifications listed say it is 2.8 Watts. At 5 Volts, it is only drawing (.56 Amps). Even if it does draw 1 Amp like you say, you are still safe up to your devices output rating of 2.1 Amps. Plug it in and have fun.
