PetroChina K8009 is a high-grade high-impact polypropylene copolymer (PP-B) resin specially developed for injection molding processes. Produced by PetroChina’s manufacturing facilities including Guangdong Petrochemical, this thermoplastic product boasts an excellent combination of high stiffness and outstanding impact toughness, maintaining stable performance even in low-temperature environments. Its core properties include exceptional impact strength enabled by internal ethylene-propylene rubber matrices that resist cracking under severe physical impact. With a medium melt flow rate suitable for injection molding, it ensures smooth mold filling and efficient short-cycle production. The resin presents non-toxic, odorless, milky white waxy granular characteristics, with a 24-hour water absorption rate of roughly 0.01% and a melting point ranging from 164°C to 189°C.
