Nylon Sleeve product introduction
Shield-Flex nylon sleeve is designed to protect people near a breaking hose (pin hole‑approved) or hydraulic hose. Manufactured from hard‑wearing polypropylene (PP), it features excellent UV protection and good resistance to acids, oil and solvents. The product meets pin‑hole protection standards ISO 3457 and ISO 4413, with abrasion resistance up to 50,000 cycles. It operates within a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C and is available in black. For better protection and easier installation, it is recommended to select a size approximately 50 % larger than the hose.

Available Sizes and Lengths
Available in inner diameters from 10 mm to 125 mm. It is recommended to choose a size which is a few millimetres larger than the hose to improve protection and make mounting easier.
Whether there is a coupling already installed also affects the eligible size. Available in rolls of 50 m or pre-cut lengths in OEM request.
