    By selecting low-speed screw rotors and the most suitable motors, and pairing them with main units optimized for specific speeds, we ensure that each rotor operates at its optimal speed, achieving the best possible energy efficiency ratio.

Are there any special installation requirements for the 55kW Direct Drive model?

Mainly space and ventilation. Due to its high capacity, the unit generates significant heat. While AIRERA has optimized the internal cooling airflow, we recommend placement in a well-ventilated, independent compressor room. Notably, because the direct drive structure is highly compact, its footprint is actually smaller than many belt-driven units of the same power, saving valuable floor space.

Is the flexible coupling in the direct drive unit durable? How often should it be checked?
We use high-strength, fatigue-resistant synthetic rubber couplings reinforced specifically for VSD’s frequent speed adjustments and starts/stops. It acts as an excellent buffer to protect motor bearings. Typically, the coupling only requires a routine inspection every 8,000 to 12,000 hours, lasting far longer than high-wear belts.
