The KNX universal dimmer is a four-channel DIN rail device for switching and dimming resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads. Each output is rated up to 300 VA at AC 230 V, and adjacent outputs can be bundled to drive loads up to 1000 VA without minimum load per output. The dimmer automatically adjusts to leading edge or trailing edge control based on load type, while independent electronic protection on each channel guards against overload, short circuit, and temperature rise. Manual operation buttons allow local switching, dimming, and activation of direct mode for commissioning or maintenance. Bus-powered electronics and an integrated bus coupling unit simplify wiring, and maintenance-free terminals support conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm². The device is DIN-rail mounted on TH35 rail according to DIN EN 60715.
