The N 523/03 KNX roller shutter actuator is a four-channel AC 230 V controller for roller shutters, blinds, awnings, and sun protection drives. Each channel delivers 6 A rated contact current and uses two electrically interlocked relays to reverse motor direction for raising and lowering. A status LED on each output indicates the operating state, and an 8-bit status object reports the current position or sun protection value. Direct local operation buttons on the front enable manual raising, lowering, and stopping, and a travel lock function supports cleaning or maintenance. In alarm conditions, the actuator moves the connected shutter to a safety position and locks it until the alarm is cleared. The integrated bus coupling unit and power supply simplify wiring, and the unit connects to the KNX bus via terminal or contact system to the data rail. Each channel can be configured individually or shared, and supports scene control with two integrated scenes per channel.
