RL 524D23 KNX Modular Solar Protection Actuator
The RL 524D23 KNX solar protection actuator is a two-channel DC 24 V controller for sunblind, shutter, awning, and ventilation flap drives in low-voltage building automation. Each channel delivers 6 A rated contact current and uses two relays per output for polarity switching of the DC motor. The unit detects limit switches and automatically determines travel time via current sensing, ensuring precise positioning without manual calibration. Bus-powered electronics and maintenance-free terminals support conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm, with dedicated terminals for motor connection and DC 24 V supply distribution.
