The RL 125/23 KNX decentralized power supply delivers a choke-protected DC 29 V output at 80 mA for small, distributed KNX bus segments or room automation modules. It is designed for decentralized installation in AP 118 automation module boxes or AP 641 room control boxes, allowing power to be placed close to field devices and reducing voltage drop on long or heavily loaded bus lines. The integrated choke limits inrush current and protects the bus against short circuits while maintaining stable communication. Output voltage is connected either through a plug-in extra-low voltage terminal or a standard bus terminal. The wide rated operational voltage range of AC 120 to 230 V at 50/60 Hz, or DC 220 V, allows the same unit to be used in both North American and European electrical systems.
