Thermal lamination film enhances printed materials with superior gloss, elegant appearance, visual comfort, and pleasant tactile feel. It provides protection against pressing, bubbling, and peeling while safeguarding laminated prints from harmful substances, moisture, and ensuring long-term storage durability.
Manufactured using multiple extrusion coating lines, thermal lamination film consists of two layers: a plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET) and an EVA adhesive layer. Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.

All thermal lamination film types are supplied in roll format and are compatible with various printing methods, particularly offset printing. Suitable for most paper and paperboard weights including 80gsm, 125gsm, and 250gsm. Matt thermal lamination film performs exceptionally well with UV Varnish and hot stamping applications.

Application Process
The lamination process involves joining multiple layers to protect printed materials. Using a hot laminator (thermal lamination roller machine), the EVA adhesive is melted onto paper surfaces. The film passes over a heated roller and adheres to the paper under controlled pressure. This straightforward process is suitable for both industrial applications and smaller-scale home use. Also referred to as heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination.
