Transparent Plastic Roll BOPP Thermal Lamination Film for Print Finishing Lamination

BOPP Thermal Lamination Film is a plastic thin film designed for paper lamination. It features BOPP film as the base material layer and EVA as the heat sensitive layer, both coated using high-speed co-extrusion laminating technology.

We produce two primary types of BOPP thermal lamination film:

• Glossy (also called shine, brillante) BOPP thermal lamination film
• Matt (also called dull, mate) BOPP thermal lamination film

BOPP thermal lamination film works with various printing methods, particularly offset printing. It is compatible with most paper or paperboard types for print finishing lamination, including 80gsm, 125gsm, and 250gsm. Matt thermal lamination film performs exceptionally well with UV Varnish and hot stamping applications.

Thermal lamination film is produced using multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: a plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET) and an adhesive glue layer (EVA). Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.

BOPP Thermal Lamination Film rolls are commonly used in printing houses for commercial and school printing applications, as well as graphic arts large format projects. The transparent film lamination (bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull) is heated to provide protective coverage on paper surfaces.

The lamination process involves joining two or more layers to protect printed materials. A hot laminator (thermal/heat/dry lamination roller machine) is used to melt the EVA adhesive onto paper surfaces. The film passes over a heated roller and, under appropriate pressure, adheres to the paper. This straightforward process can even be performed at home for small applications.
