Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET) and adhesive glue (EVA). Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.
Primarily used in printing houses for commercial and school printing, as well as graphic arts large format applications. The transparent film lamination (bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull) is heated as protection on paper covers.

Lamination joins multiple layers to protect prints. Requires a hot laminator (thermal lamination roller machine) to melt EVA adhesive onto paper surface. The film passes over a heated roller and sticks to paper under reasonable pressure. This easy process can be done at home for small applications.
