PET Thermal Laminating Film is primarily composed of PET + EVA layers combined through an extrusion coating process. The final film features PET film properties on one side and a heat-sensitive surface for dry lamination on the other.
- Available in glossy/shine/transparent and matte/opaque classifications
- Thickness range: 12 micron to 250 micron
- Width options: 180mm to 1880mm
- Length options: 150m (1 inch core, 25mm) to 4000m (3 inch core, 76mm)
PET Thermal Laminating Film is widely used for:
- Textbook covers
- Brochures and leaflets
- Sweet boxes and cosmetics packaging
- Shopping bags
- Diaries
A laminating machine (hot laminator) is required to use PET thermal laminating film rolls. The process involves melting the EVA layer onto substrates like paper by passing the film over a heated roller under appropriate pressure.
- Adjust roller pressure and temperature according to paper and ink types
- Conduct small trial volumes before mass lamination when changing sizes
- Normal process temperature: 90°C-105°C (203°F - 221°F)
- Ensure ink is completely dry before laminating
- Store materials in low-temperature, dry environments
Factors affecting lamination quality:
- Use of metal ink
- Ink containing excessive wax, dried oil, adhesive, or silicon additives
- Overly thick ink application
- Insufficient ink drying time
- Excessively humid paper
- Too much surface powder
- One roll per carton
- Tens of rolls per pallet
- 10-12 pallets per 20ft container (approx. 13MT)
- 20-22 pallets per 40ft container (approx. 25MT)
- Seaports: Xiamen, Shanghai, Ningbo
- Airbags used for pallet protection during container loading
- Free testing samples available
- Standard sample size: 300/400mm × 100m/200m per glossy or matte roll
- Custom sample sizes available upon request
- Freight costs borne by receiver, refunded against future orders
- Prepaid shipping recommended for cost savings
- 2 coating lines operational
- 20-day delivery for 40ft container orders
- 350MT monthly production capacity
- Thickness range: 15 micron to 32 micron (both glossy and matte)
- Roll width: 180mm to 1680mm
- Roll length: 2000m to 6000m
- Reel inner diameter: 25.4mm (1 inch) or 76mm (3 inch)
- Reel outer diameter: 240mm to 380mm
