Product Overview

The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors are designed for high-performance applications, offering a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C. These resistors deliver full power and voltage ratings without derating, featuring non-inductive performance and extended critical resistance values. Built with Caddock's proprietary Micronox resistance films fired onto a ceramic core, they provide exceptional long-term stability, even under high ambient temperatures, thermal shock, and high power densities. The patented non-inductive serpentine resistive pattern ensures maximum flux field cancellation, leading to faster settling times and minimal distortion in high-frequency circuits. Manufactured under intensive controls and subjected to rigorous reliability testing, Type MS resistors are ideal for simplifying circuit design and reducing equipment cost and complexity.

Derating Curve:

A derating curve is provided, indicating power and voltage ratings as a percentage of ambient temperature. Type A applies to all MS models except MS126, MS151, MS176. Type B applies to MS126, MS151, MS176.
