Product Overview
The Piher PT-10 / PTC-10 is a 10-mm carbon or cermet through-hole potentiometer designed for applications requiring frequent adjustment. Its shaftless design allows for various engagement mechanisms, enabling control of variable outputs such as frequency, motor speed, or volume. Key features include excellent linearity (up to 3%), carbon or cermet resistive elements, up to 16 mechanical detents for tactile feedback, and up to 100,000 life cycles. The potentiometers offer IP54 protection and are available with magazine packaging for automatic insertion. Applications include appliance program selection, thermostat adjustment, timer and control relays, consumer electronics, power tool controls, and test and measurement equipment.
