Precision current sense resistor Caddock SR20-0.50-1% with Kelvin terminals and Micronox resistance film
Product Overview
The Caddock Type SR Precision Current Sense Resistors are designed for efficient current monitoring and control applications. Utilizing Caddock's Micronox resistance films, these resistors offer a compact footprint and non-inductive performance. Key features include Kelvin terminals for accurate four-wire resistance measurements and availability in standard resistance values down to 0.005. They are ideal for applications requiring precise current sensing where minimizing circuit board space is crucial.

Operating Conditions:
- Operating Temperature: -40C to +150C
- Power Rating Derating: Based on ambient temperature above +70C (see derating curve).
Measurement Note:
Resistance measurements are made using Kelvin connections (four wire) with appropriate current and sense connections to the device terminals.
Circuit Board Layout Note:
Circuit board traces connected to current terminals must be sized appropriately for the current flowing through the trace. For example, a 0.005 resistor operated at 2.0 Watts will have 20 amps flowing through the circuit board traces into the current terminals.
