Resistance Value Code and Marking Rules
- E-24 Series (0603, 5%): Three-digit marking (significant digits + number of zeros).
- E-24 Series (0603, 1% & 0.5%): Three-digit marking with an underline.
- E-96 Series & E-24 Series (1% & 0.5%) for 0805, 1206, 1210, 2010, 2512, 4R02, 4R03: Four-digit marking (significant digits + number of zeros).
- E-96 Series (0603): Three-code marking (two digits for E-96 resistance code + letter for multiplier code).
- Decimal point denoted by "R".
- Jumper resistors denoted by "0".
- 0201 and 0402 sizes are not marked.
