Guidelines For Using Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor
- DC electrolytic capacitors are polarized. Ensure correct polarity to avoid short circuits or damage. Not suitable for AC applications.
- Do not apply voltage greater than rated voltage. Recommended working voltage is 70-80% of rated voltage for extended life.
- Do not allow excessive ripple current through the capacitor, as it can cause heating, capacitance reduction, and damage.
