Usage Precautions
Circuit Design:
- Use within rated performance limits, avoid high temperatures, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse voltage, AC voltage, and rapid charge/discharge cycles.
- Select capacitors with a lifespan comparable to the machine's.
- Ensure complete isolation between capacitor terminals, casing, and circuit.
- Avoid using if casing insulation is insufficient.
- Do not use in environments with direct contact with water, saltwater, oil, condensation, harmful gases, sunlight, ozone, UV radiation, radioactive substances, or excessive vibration/shock.
Installation:
- Ensure correct polarity and matching hole spacing.
- Leave space above the safety vent.
- Avoid placing other components or wiring above the vent.
- Avoid placing other wiring near the capacitor on the PCB.
- Minimize heat-generating components around the capacitor.
- On double-sided PCBs, avoid unnecessary substrate holes and via holes near the capacitor.
- Ensure current equalization for parallel connections and voltage equalization for series connections.
Assembly & Soldering:
- Prevent direct contact between terminals and short circuits.
- Avoid exposure to water, oil, condensation, sunlight, ozone, UV, radiation, or harmful gases.
- Do not exceed specified vibration and shock limits.
- Do not use dropped capacitors.
- Do not install deformed capacitors.
- Ensure proper soldering temperature, time, and number of times as per specifications.
- Avoid solder adhering to areas other than terminals.
- Do not immerse the capacitor body in solder solution.
- Prevent other products from falling and hitting the capacitor during soldering.
- Do not use capacitors that have been removed from the machine for inspection or testing.
- Discharge capacitors with regenerative voltage using a ~1K resistor.
- Discharge long-term stored capacitors using a ~1K resistor.
Cleaning:
- Avoid using cleaning agents. If necessary, clean within product specification limits.
- Ensure proper cleaning agent management (conductivity, pH, specific gravity, moisture).
- After cleaning, do not store in cleaning liquid or sealed containers. Dry with hot air below the maximum operating temperature.
Fixing Agents & Coatings:
- Do not use halogen-containing fixing agents or resin coatings.
- Ensure no solder residue or dirt remains between the PCB and capacitor.
- Dry thoroughly before applying fixing agents/coatings to prevent clogging.
Bolt Type Installation:
- For vertical installation, pressure valve must face upwards.
- For horizontal installation, ensure the pressure valve or positive terminal faces upwards.
Maintenance & Disposal:
- Regular inspections (visual and performance testing) are required for industrial capacitors.
- In case of vent opening, cut off main power.
- Keep face away from vent during operation; flush eyes with water if exposed to ejected gas. Wash skin with soap if electrolyte spills.
- For overseas export, be cautious with fumigation (e.g., potassium bromide) due to potential corrosion. Ensure fumigant does not directly contact products and allow for thorough drying.
- Store in a cool, dry indoor environment (5-30,
- Do not store in prohibited environments.
- Dispose of waste capacitors by puncturing/crushing and incineration, or by handing over to professional recyclers.
Part Number System: The system encodes capacitance, tolerance, voltage, sleeve material, shape, color, series, and other features. (Detailed breakdown not fully available in source text for all fields).
