Product Overview

The DGCX X2 series are metallized polypropylene film capacitors designed for suppressing electromagnetic interference in power supplies. These capacitors feature a non-inductive winding structure with self-healing properties, capable of withstanding high voltage surges. They are encapsulated in a flame-retardant plastic case (PBT) and epoxy resin, meeting UL94V-0 standards. Ideal for interference suppression circuits and X-class applications where capacitor failure should not pose a shock hazard. Not recommended for capacitive power supplies or high-temperature/high-humidity environments.

Usage Rules

  • Usage Scope: Do not exceed the upper limit category temperature; avoid overload; do not exceed the maximum pulse current.
  • Operation Notes: Avoid repeated squeezing at the lead root; pay attention to the tip of the leads.
  • Soldering:
    • Wave Soldering: TP 110; Ts 120, 45 seconds. For P7.5mm, T4mm, wave soldering time
    • Soldering Iron: Tip temperature not exceeding 350, time not exceeding 3 seconds.
    • Capacitors with printed leads are not suitable for reflow soldering.
