Application Notes

  • The product is not washable.
  • Do not use adhesives for fixing the slider, as it may cause contact instability.
  • Excessive soldering time or temperature can impair product function.
  • For reflow soldering, cream solder thickness should be 100-150m. Ensure appropriate solder amount to avoid insufficient bonding or solder bridges.
  • If wiring patterns are located directly beneath the product after mounting, ensure insulation measures (e.g., using resist).
  • Refer to EIAJ RCR-2191A for potentiometer usage guidelines.
  • For applications requiring high reliability and safety, implement fail-safe designs (e.g., protective circuits, redundant circuits).
