Usage Precautions

  • Polarized: Ensure correct polarity. Use non-polarized capacitors if polarity is uncertain.
  • Voltage: Do not exceed rated voltage or apply reverse voltage. Use within rated voltage for optimal lifespan.
  • Ripple Current: Keep ripple current below rated value to prevent overheating and capacity reduction. Peak ripple voltage + DC voltage must be less than rated voltage.
  • Temperature: Operate within rated temperature range. Lower ambient temperature extends lifespan.
  • Storage: Long-term storage may increase leakage current, especially at higher temperatures. Pre-charge if necessary.
  • Frequent Charge/Discharge: Not suitable for circuits with frequent charge/discharge cycles.
