Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Hyncdz capacitors are polarized and must not be reverse connected.
- Prohibited Circuits: Avoid use in high impedance, coupling, time constant, or series connection circuits where leakage current is critical. Contact Hyncdz for specific applications.
- Over voltage: Do not exceed the rated voltage, even momentarily.
- Sudden charge and discharge: Avoid sudden charge/discharge. A protection circuit is recommended for rush currents exceeding 10A or 10x allowable ripple current.
- Operating temperature and ripple current: Exceeding temperature limits or ripple current can shorten life and increase leakage.
- Leakage current: May slightly increase after soldering but can self-repair with applied DC voltage.
- Applied voltage: Recommended to operate below 80% of rated voltage for reliability. Peak DC and AC voltage should not exceed rated voltage.
Marking
Each unit is marked with series, trademark, capacitance, rated voltage, and negative polarity.
