Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of 'K-foot' damage during wave soldering, reduced costs, and improved performance. This capacitor features lower noise, enhanced spray-gold contact area (150-200% increase) for reduced high-frequency loss and better surge handling, a PBT synthetic resin casing, flame-retardant epoxy potting for improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, and good appearance consistency. It is rated for a C-grade flammability and a maximum operating temperature of 110. The MPP85-BOX is also suitable for various general-purpose applications such as bypassing, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage dividing, especially in high-current scenarios due to its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss.
