It features a polarized all-welded design, tinned copper wire leads, and a self-healing capability due to its liquid electrolyte impregnation. With excellent electrical performance, high ripple current capability, and robustness against vibration, the PHA225 is suitable for operation up to +125C in mobile, automotive, and aircraft installations.

Shelf Life
Capacitance, ESR, and impedance will not change significantly after extended storage periods at temperatures up to 40C. Leakage current will very slowly increase. After storage for 10 years at +40C or 1,000 hours at maximum rated temperature with no voltage applied and then stabilized at +20C, capacitors shall meet the limits specified in Endurance.
