Reliability Testing
The AL0510 series undergoes various reliability tests including Terminal Strength (SMT & DIP), Resistance to Flexure, Dropping, Solderability, Vibration, Thermal Shock, Low Temperature Storage, High Temperature Storage, Damp Heat, Heat Endurance of Reflow Soldering, Resistance to Solvent, Overload Test, and Voltage Resistance Test, with specific requirements and test methods detailed in the original document.
Recommended Lead-free Wave Soldering Curve (DIP-Type)
A recommended wave soldering profile is provided as a reference. Users should adjust and confirm soldering conditions based on their specific equipment and environment. Hand soldering with a soldering iron is not recommended but can be done with care, avoiding contact with the inductor body and limiting temperature to 350C for no more than 3 times.
Reminders for Using These Products
- Storage: Within 12 months, under conditions of 5~40C and 35~65% RH. Deterioration of solderability may occur beyond this period.
- Environment: Do not use or store in gas corrosive environments (salt, acid, alkali, etc.).
- Handling: Avoid touching terminals directly with bare hands due to oil secretions. Handle products carefully to prevent damage from dropping.
- Terminal Bending: Do not bend terminals excessively to avoid wire fracture.
- Cleaning: Do not rinse coils; contact the manufacturer if cleaning is necessary.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep away from magnets or objects with magnetic fields.
- Preheating: Preheat components before soldering; the temperature difference between solder and chip should not exceed 150C.
- Soldering Correction: Post-mounting soldering corrections must be within specified conditions to avoid short circuits, performance degradation, or reduced lifespan.
- Self-Heating: Account for self-heating when designing for thermal management.
- Non-Magnetic Shield Type: Careful coil layout is required on the PCB to prevent malfunctions due to magnetic interference.
