Product Usage Guidelines

Polarity: DC electrolytic capacitors are polarized. Ensure correct polarity to prevent short circuits or damage. Use bipolar capacitors when polarity is uncertain. Not suitable for AC applications.

Voltage: Do not exceed the rated voltage. Recommended working voltage is 70-80% of rated voltage to prolong life.

Ripple Current: Avoid excessive ripple current, which can cause overheating, capacitance reduction, and damage. Generally, do not exceed 80% of the rated current.

Temperature: Characteristics vary with temperature. Lower operating temperatures ensure longer life. The relationship between temperature and life is approximately: L2 = L1 * 2^((T1-T2)/10).

Frequency: Capacitance decreases and dissipation factor (tg) increases with higher frequencies.

Storage: For capacitors stored long-term, apply rated DC voltage treatment before use to mitigate increased leakage current and reduced withstand voltage.

Case Insulation: The capacitor case is not insulated from the cathode terminal. Implement insulation measures at the mounting point if case insulation is required.

Terminal Force: Do not apply excessive force to terminals or leads to prevent breakage or internal connection failure.

Cleaning: Use recommended cleaning solvents (Methanol, isopropanol, ethanol, etc.). Avoid halogenated solvents like trichlorethylene or xylene.

Soldering: Maintain a distance from the plastic sleeve. Recommended soldering temperature is within 260C for no more than 10 seconds.

Circuit Board Layout: Ensure mounting hole spacing matches lead spacing to avoid stress on leads. Consider hole layout to prevent solder splashing.
